Responsibilities:

  • Manually remove finished bags from line and pack in cartons
  • Perform quality checks and record information.
  • Perform basic adjustments and measurements on assigned equipment with little support from lead to maintain quality specifications.
  • Prepare input rolls for splicing to current product.
  • Inform cell leader and/or group leader of operating problems.
  • Keep accurate records of reclaim and downtime.
  • Maintain clean, safe work area.
  • Communicate effectively with off-going and on-coming shift personnel.
  • Give assistance to co-workers to reduce reclaim and downtime.
  • May train other personnel of lower job levels.

Qualifications:

  • Albe to stand and walk for extended periods of time.
  • Able to grip and reach.
  • Able to a maximum of 50lbs.
  • Good communication and organizational skills.
  • Good mathematical skills.
  • Able to work overtime as required.
  • Continuous learning will be expected.
  • Capable and commit to follow the plant and departmental safety procedures, food safety guidelines and ISO procedure.
