Department: Men’s Locker Room
Job Title: Locker Room Attendant
Reports To: Men’s Locker Room Manager
Position Purpose: Perform personal services for members and guests including shoe shine service and beverage service. Responsible for the operation, safety and general maintenance of locker room area.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Greet all members and guest by name, when possible and assign lockers when needed.
- Learn member’s full names, face recognition and locker numbers.
- Shines and cleans both golf and street shoes for all members and guests.
- Maintains inventory of all amenities such as soaps and toilet articles and towels.
- Issues towels, soaps, toilet articles and other items requested by members and guests.
- Maintains cleanliness of locker room areas. Picks up soiled towels and cleans shoe shine area. Housekeeping staff cleans the floors, showers, washrooms, etc.
- Collects and take out trash.
- Wipes down sinks.
- Performs minor repairs to golf shoes and spikes.
- Makes coffee and ice tea. Serves beverages, snacks and fruit to all members and guests as requested.
- Changes notice board of events every month.
- Maintains security in Locker Room.
- Takes messages for members.
- Operate and maintain Jacuzzi. Keep daily water quality log up to date hourly making sure water tests and chemical balance are in proper parameters and add chemicals as needed.
- Maintain and comply with all current county, state government health codes.
- Report any and all mechanical problems to engineering department.
- Maintain current CPR and defibrillator training for spa guard duties.
- Performs any and all other duties as assigned by Manager.
Education and Work Experience Qualifications
Must have good English skills. Prior country club or resort experience a plus.
