Job Description
A Pediatric Nurse Practitioner is a licensed health care provider, trained to provide direct delivery of patient care services. In accordance with the rules and regulations set forth by the State of Wyoming, a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner will engage in the provision of outpatient, primary care services in a outpatient clinic setting. Ideally, applicants would possess 2-3 years of practice experience working with infants, adolescents and other populations under the age of 18. Applicants will need to possess a good knowledge base of childhood vaccinations and be a resource to educate parents. Applicants will see a variety of cases from annual wellness exams to the walk-in needs of acute care visits.
Employee will work an average of 40 hours per week with the option of a 4-10 schedule. The practice model may be evaluated every quarter by senior staff for purposes of clarification of practice, objectives and goals. Based on organizational need the employee may be required to work in areas other than that for which the employee was hired. Employee subject to mandatory performance expectations and requirements set forth in the provider contract. This provider job description is representative of the provider contract and superseded by the signed formal contract.
