Duties & Responsibilities:

Responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following:

  • Welcome and greet guests
  • Answer questions about our food, beverages, and other restaurant services
  • Prepare final bill, present check to guest, accept payment, process credit card charges or make change
  • Perform side work at the start and end of each shift as required by management
  • Monitor guests' dining experience to ensure they are satisfied with the food and service
  • Respond promptly and courteously to requests and communicate guest feedback to managers
  • Help maintain restaurant cleanliness
  • Follow the closing checklist to close the restaurant properly
  • Attend all scheduled team member meetings
Requirements:

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Previous restaurant experience is optional but preferred.
  • Ability to read and understand simple instructions.
  • Ability to write simple correspondence.
  • Ability to effectively present information to customers and other team members.
  • Ability to add and subtract two and three-digit numbers and perform these operations using units of American money.
  • Must have exceptional hygiene and grooming habits.
  • Food Handler Certification is required.
