Job Summary:

In this role, you will devote your day to creating a comfortable, clean and safe environment for our furry guests. Your responsibilities will vary from providing basic care, ensuring cleanliness, and maintaining pet's safety. You should have the physical ability to frequently handle dogs on leashes, stand for long hours, and lift up to 40 pounds. We strongly encourage applicants who can work during weekends and over the festive holidays.

Core Responsibilities:

1. Uphold the Mission, Vision, and Values of Pet and Home Care with utmost sincerity.

2. Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in pet enclosures and common areas by consistently sanitizing and disinfecting.

3. Promptly provide fresh water to all pet guests.

4. Delegate proper meal portions, verifying each pet receives the correct type and quantity of food.

5. Monitor and provide accurate reports on each pet's consumption and waste disposal; escalate any observed irregularities to the General Manager or Assistant Manager for immediate attention.

6. Ensure regular checks on pet guests throughout the day for their safety and comfort.

7. Promptly clean pet excrement from enclosures and common areas as required.

8. Keep track of and maintain cleanliness of pet belongings; ensure their return to owners post-stay.

9. Maintain cleanliness of food preparation areas.

10. Regularly perform laundry duties, including pet bedding and towels.

Qualifications and Skills:

1. Preferably 1 to 2 years of experience with dogs, such as in a vet tech, pet sitter, kennel worker, trainer, or groomer role.

2. High school diploma or equivalent is mandatory.

3. Excellent communication skills, reliability, and adaptable scheduling are crucial.

4. Comfortable with dogs of all sizes, breeds, and temperaments.

5. Must be comfortable working in an environment with exposure to disinfectant/sanitation chemicals, animal dander, and excretions.

6. Attention to cleanliness and detail is desired.
