Job Summary:
As a Medical Technologist, you will play a vital role in the accurate and timely analysis of laboratory samples, ensuring quality patient care through precise testing procedures. You will be responsible for performing various laboratory tests, interpreting results, and maintaining meticulous records/documentation. Additionally, you will assist in the supervision of departmental activities in the absence of the supervisor, demonstrating sound judgment and independent thinking in result interpretation and problem resolution.

Qualifications required:

• A 2 Year/Associate Degree is required
• A 4 Year/Bachelor's Degree in Medical Technology is preferred
• Less than 1 year of RECENT ACUTE CARE experience as a Medical Technologist
• A State of Florida Technologist License is required OR Has ALREADY APPLIED FOR THE LICENSE
• Certification as a Medical Laboratory Scientist, Medical Lab Scientist, Clinical Laboratory Scientist, or Clinical Laboratory Technologist is highly desired.
