Junior Staff Accountant

FLSA Status: Full Time. Non-exempt.

Job Description

Conducts new team member orientation training sessions in compliance with the policies and procedures of the organization.

The staff accountant prepares general ledger entries, reconciles financial statements and accounts, and ensures data accuracy. The senior accountant is also responsible for cash management activities to ensure company assets' safety.

In charge of month-end closing, including preparation and approval of journal entries

Participate in all day-to-day accounting operations including A/R, A/P, GL, Revenue accounting, Leasing accounting, and Fixed Asset Accounting

Responsible for Trial Balance review and balance sheet account reconciliations

Assist with monthly financial reporting including Balance Sheet, Income Statement, Cash Flow, and variance analysis

Assist with internal and external auditing requests

Assist with annual budgeting and monthly forecasting

Review financial results versus budget, identifying trends and concerns.

Manage daily cash flow, and prepares monthly cash forecast

Research technical accounting issues for compliance purposes.

Other tasks and responsibilities that were assigned by VP of Finance

Requirements

Undergraduate degree or above in accounting.

Over 3 years of related work experience preferred.

Self-starter who can quickly contribute across a variety of products and handle the increasing scope of responsibility.

Ability to work with cross-functional teams and comfortable working with teams in different time zones

Excellent interpersonal and communications skills; verbally, written, face-to-face, and over the phone with partners and co-workers

Strong drives to achieve results and be enthusiastic and energetic

Fully bilingual in English and Mandarin Chinese (Reading, Writing, and Comprehension)

Travel availability within the region to customers and vendors
