ServiceMaster NCR is a disaster response company that specializes in water damage, mold remediation, hoarding, bio-hazardous cleanup, etc. Ideal candidates will have the confidence to guide customers through a stressful event in a sensitive and reassuring manner. Daily responsibilities include: (don't worry, we'll train you!)

• Perform water/fire/smoke damage and mold remediation repair as directed by the supervisor
• Cutting and removing drywall, insulation, carpet, and other types of installed flooring
• Removing/disposing of non-salvageable materials, cleaning, light, and demolition
• Sets up and monitors air movers and/or dehumidifiers
• Report any equipment malfunction to the supervisor
• Report any customer problems or damage to the supervisor
• Complete assigned job tasks according to company processes while maintaining quality control on each job
  
• Drive company box truck to and from job sites in and around the DC metro area

The ideal candidate will be willing to work overtime regularly as well as cover a rotating on-call shift once a month. You must also be comfortable driving a box truck in and around the DC Metro area and be prepared to work in various home and commercial environments.

Job Type: Full-time Monday - Friday 8AM to 5PM + Overtime 

Physical Demands and Working Conditions 

Move up to 50 pounds often, by lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, or otherwise repositioning objects.Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods of time. Lifting, squatting, crawling ,and crouching is required. Express or exchange ideas with others and receive and act on detailed information given.For safety reasons, respirators, which are used in certain situations, must be able to seal to your face.Be exposed to various inside and outside working conditions: The change of environment such as with or without air conditioning and heating.
