Dental Hygienist

Our client is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Dental Hygienist to join our team. As a Dental Hygienist, you will play a vital role in our practice by assisting in patient care and promoting oral hygiene practices.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough dental cleanings to remove plaque, tartar, and stains from teeth.
  
• Perform periodontal assessments and charting to evaluate the health of patients gums.
  
• Take and develop dental x-rays as needed for diagnostic purposes.
  
• Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and provide personalized recommendations for home care.
  
• Administer fluoride treatments and apply dental sealants to prevent tooth decay.
  
• Assist the dentist during dental procedures, such as fillings, extractions, and root canals.
  
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation of treatments performed.
  
• Sterilize dental instruments and equipment according to established protocols.
  
• Follow infection control and safety procedures to ensure a clean and safe working environment.
  
• Collaborate with other members of the dental team to deliver comprehensive patient care.
  

Requirements:

• Graduation from an accredited dental hygiene program.
  
• Valid state license to practice dental hygiene in Minnesota.
  
• Current CPR certification.
  
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  
• Ability to work well independently and as part of a team.
  
• Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
