MORE ABOUT THE PT PHYSICAL THERAPIST POSITION:

CareerStaff Unlimited partners with companies around the country to raise the bar in healthcare by setting new standards for quality care and personalized service. Responsibilities for this Physical Therapist opportunity include, but are not limited to:

1. Demonstrate excellence in customer service and public relations to promote a positive professional image
2. Work independently with attention to detail and possess the necessary knowledge of all aspects of daily operations
3. Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients in their home environment, evaluating their physical abilities, mobility, and functional status
4. Develop individualized and patient-centered treatment plans based on assessment findings, patient goals, and physician recommendations
5. Administer therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, and other rehabilitation interventions to improve patients' physical function and mobility
6. Conduct assessments of the home environment to identify potential safety hazards and recommend modifications to enhance patient safety
7. Implement fall prevention strategies, including balance training and education on fall risk factors
8. Address and manage pain through therapeutic interventions, modalities, and patient education
9. Be a model of professionalism and compassion by serving as an ambassador to this organization

JOB REQUIREMENTS FOR THE PT PHYSICAL THERAPIST:

1. 1 year of home health experience required
2. Proof of COVID vaccination, including booster
3. Masters of Science or Doctorate in Physical Therapy from an accredited program
4. Successful completion of the National Certification Examination
5. Valid PT license in Virginia
