Overview

We have part- and full-time positions available on our Med Surg Unit - all benefit eligible.

.75 or .9 FTE (60 or 72 hours per two weeks) Day/Night rotating shifts. 12 hour shifts, working every third weekend and every third holiday.

Responsibilities

The registered nurse is accountable for the provisions of nursing care to all patients in the hospital and to prescribe, delegate and coordinate that care as part of the daily responsibility. The registered nurse will also participate in unit management, staff orientation and self-development.



Qualifications

  1. Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with a current Minnesota license, certified in Basic Life Support (BLS) (American Heart Association), ACLS or ability to complete ACLS within six months of hire, PALS or ability to complete PALS within six months of hire. Registered nurses caring for trauma admissions to the medical/surgical floor are required to complete a trauma training course within six weeks of hire and complete a TNCC course within eighteen months of hire.
  2. Sincere interest in nursing with knowledge in general medical/surgical nursing and the ability to use the nursing process.
  3. Ability to interact in a positive and cooperative manner with courtesy and respect towards co-workers, patients and other customers.
  4. One to two years experience as an RN. Minimum one year hospital experience.
  5. Bachelor Degree preferred.

37.41 USD - Hourly

Maximum Salary
56.21 USD - Hourly
