Role Summary:

ST Engineering Aerospace – Middle River Aerostructure Systems, LLC. is looking for a Sourcing Fulfillment Specialist to interface with the purchasing team and its’ supply base, and effectively communicate part delivery status with internal cross-functional teams.

In this role, you will be reporting to the Sourcing Fulfillment Leader, measuring supplier performance, and assisting the purchasing team as required with driving supplier on-time delivery. Creation and management of various performance tracking tools is required daily. Analysis of demand flow and planning requirements is to be conducted on a regular occurrence.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Develop appropriate supply chain strategy to assure part flow supports program(s) requirements.
  • Execute on supply chain best practices and measure performance through agreed upon Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
  • Interface and build relationships with supplier contacts, support buyers in delivery/fulfillment needs, and escalate issues with supplier leadership to support the business operations.
  • Direct and coordinate supply chain functions through strategy, resource optimization, profitability maximization, and KPIs resulting in internal and external customer satisfaction.
  • Plan, manage, and coordinate supply activities related to the sourcing and procurement of necessary materials and supplies needed to meet the changing levels of program demand.
  • Collaborate with procurement department to determine best practice for freight and freight consolidation.
  • Interfaces with cross functional team that includes Operations, Engineering, Supplier Quality, Planning, and Production Control.
  • Supports proper utilization of ERP (SAP). Works closely with Program Management, Planning, Quality and Operations to assure correct demand and supply signals are sent to the supply base.
  • Provides input for Sourcing on the S&OP process to assure product lead times support build and delivery schedules.

Qualifications / Skills:

  • Quick learner with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously, maintain focus, and adapt to a variety of challenges.
  • Ability to conduct detailed material reviews in a time constrained environment with supplier leadership.
  • Ability to take initiative and responsibility for sourcing needs.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong sense of time organization and urgency.
  • Strong analytical skill set mandatory. Prefer advanced Microsoft (Excel, PowerPoint) experience.
  • ERP experience is mandatory, SAP preferred.
  • Working knowledge of supplier portals.
  • Ability to influence others while also being able to work independently.

Education, Experience, and Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain/Logistics, or equivalent experience
  • 3+ years of supply chain, logistics, or warehouse management experience
  • Some travel may be required, up to 10%
