Job Summary and Qualifications

We are looking for a compassionate and central sterile technician to provide technical support to patients of all populations. Our team is amazing, we consider ourselves a family who work hard to support each other and we are looking for someone who feels patient care is as meaningful as we do. ·You will maintain a clean, well-stocked, hazard free work area. Cleans and maintains patient care items &/or specialty trays for other departments.

·You will transport instruments sets and equipment to various units in the hospital as assigned or needed.

·You will demonstrate awareness of infection control and safety protocols.

·You will communicate information concerning instruments and equipment to the OR Nursing staff through correct/complete count sheets.

·You will communicate frequently with the SPD supervisor/OR Charge Nurse &/or Team Leader.

Requirements:

·Experience: Minimum one year sterile processing experience preferred.

This role requires you to be fully vaccinated for COVID-19 based on local, state and /or federal law or regulations (unless a medical or religious exemption is approved).
