Description:

The leasing intern's focus is to work alongside the on-site team to assure that leasing, marketing, and customer service goals are met for the community. The primary responsibilities of the leasing intern are to manage and direct communications in the office, complete administrative tasks as assigned, assist with leasing units, and provide exceptional customer service to our residents and prospective residents.

Ongoing Essential Duties

? Collaborates with the on-site team to follow up with all the leads generated in the property management software

? Works to become knowledgeable in the availability of units, pricing, and property information relevant to new prospects

? Strives to meet and exceed occupancy goals

? Demonstrates a basic understanding of Fair Housing Regulations and a commitment to perform all tasks accordingly

? Assists in performing opening tasks, including checking on the readiness of the model or show units, the tour paths, and the community amenities

? Provides high quality resident service and conveys resident service requests to on-site management

? Quickly returns missed phone calls and stays current with all follow-ups for leads and prospects

? Performs administrative tasks as assigned by the on-site team including but not limited to managing lease paperwork, move-in documentation, renter's insurance, etc.

? Promptly escalates any customer service issues to on-site management

? Communicates effectively to on-site management to resolve any noticed issues

? Enthusiastically embraces the company culture, provides a welcoming environment for residents and guests, demonstrates our drive to maintain the highest of standards, and provides the best possible experience for everyone on site

? Enthusiastically greets each person who enters the office

? Participate in and assist with planning community events

? Maintains a pleasant, professional, and cheerful presence at all times

? Always presents a professional appearance and follows established dress code policy

? Ability to work weekends is required

? Assist with various additional community projects as assigned by the Community Manager

? Other duties as assigned

Requirements:

Required Skills/Abilities:

? Basic computer knowledge

? Ability to act independently and make decisions

? Excellent verbal and written communication skills

? Flexibility to work weekends, overtime, and other unscheduled times as required

Supervisory Responsibilities:

? This position does not have supervisory responsibilities

Education and Experience:

? Capable of effectively handling multiple projects simultaneously

? Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize work

? High school diploma or equivalent combination of education required

Physical Requirements:

? Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.

? Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.



Compensation details: 17-17 Hourly Wage
