Job Description:

Currently, we’re hiring a Speech-Language Pathologist to work in a school in Bailey, Colorado. As a school-based Speech-Language Pathologist with SHC, you'll be supported by our Schools Center of Excellence, a dedicated team of recruiters and employment professionals that understand schools and your unique needs as an SLP.

Speech-Language Pathologist Contract Details:
- $56 - $60 an hour
- Speech Language Pathologist needed for the full 2024-25 school year for 30 hours a week.
- The SLP-CCC will be assigned to a caseload of 30 students and will supervise a SLPA.
- SLP-CCC will work at 2 campuses, Elementary and Secondary grade levels.
- Hours will be Monday-Thursday 8am-4pm with a 30 minute lunch.
- Could be working with students who have difficulty swallowing, or students with communication disorders
- SLP will work with students to assess, screen, evaluate, and share results with parents and the school interdisciplinary team
- SLP will develop and implement IEPs for students while reviewing goals and objectives to make recommendations for appropriate care plans
- Will be expected to establish a positive learning environment while providing response to intervention for the needs of each student

Requirements:
- Master’s degree in education or equivalent experience with a bachelor’s degree
- Colorado SLP License
- Active or Pending Colorado Department of Education (CDE) Certification.
- American Heart Association BLS
- School Experience is Preferred but not required
- ASHA Certification
