Our flagship property, Hilton McLean, is looking to add a Hostess to their Härth restaurant team.

This well known, high profile property is located directly adjacent to Hilton's headquarters in the bustling area of Tyson's Corner in McLean, Virginia. The beautiful 458 room property, boasts over 27,000 square feet of elegant meeting space and two food and beverage outlets.

Härth restaurant has become the centerpiece of the Hilton McLean Tysons Corner guest experience. Boasting a wood-burning oven and cozy fireside ambiance, härth welcomes diners 365 days a year. Inspired by local Virginia seasonal harvest, härth is a farm chic homestead of the community. At this suburban fireside hideaway you can enjoy regional chef inspired cuisine. Our hotel's outdoor organic garden and indoor Farmshelf garden provides a variety of herbs, fruits and vegetables - all incorporated into a menu that offers seasonal foods with a distinctive and creative flair. härth takes a modern, fresh approach to dining, serving Virginia-raised meats and a diverse cocktail, wine and beer list comprised of many iconic labels from around the region.

Compensation: $19.85 per hour

What will I be doing?

As a Restaurant Host/Hostess, you would be responsible for welcoming guests and escorting them to their seats for dining in the hotel's continuing effort to deliver outstanding guest service and financial profitability. Specifically, you would be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:

* Welcome guests and ascertain their dining needs * Seat guests and manage the seating chart * Monitor restaurant activity to determine seating and dining flow * Perform opening and closing duties, as needed * Assist others with side work including, but not limited to cleaning, stocking, folding silverware, etc. * Ensure knowledge of menu * Respond to guest inquiries and requests in a timely, friendly and efficient manner * Assist fellow team members and other departments wherever necessary to maintain positive working relationships
