Machine Operator

Job Type: Full time

Shift Schedule: Day shift

Salary: $20-21 depending on experience

Shift: 2nd and 3rd shift M-F

** Pre-employment background check and drug screen required.

Machine Operator Demonstrated Competence:

• Follow required startup procedures of burner and dryer systems.
• Safely operate front end loader and or skid steer while introducing raw materials to dryer system.
• Perform required quality inspections of raw material and finished product.
• Complete daily quality reports as required.

Machine Operator Inspections and Maintenance:

• Always keep production levels at the highest level possible without jeopardizing SAFETY, plant equipment, or quality.
• Perform required maintenance inspection and tasks related to burner and dryer equipment.
• Perform required maintenance inspection and tasks related to front end loader and or skid steer.

Machine Operator Communication and Teamwork:

• Maintain good communications with all shifts across all shifts.
• Report all safety incidents no matter how minor to Production Manager and or Plant Manager.
• Report equipment failures and potential equipment failures to Production Manager and or Plant Manager.
• Any other duties as assigned.

Machine Operator Qualifications/Education:

• High School diploma or GED preferred
• Manufacturing and production line experience required
• Prior experience operating manufacturing equipment,
• Must possess good eye, hand, and foot coordination
• Ability to concentrate for extended periods of time and multi-task
• Must be able to lift to 50 lbs. and stand for a minimum of 7 hours per day
• Required to read and interpret scales
• Requires mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
• Requires the ability to do simple math calculations
