Florim USA is seeking Tile Cutting Line Operators for both DAY & NIGHT SHIFT positions in the Clarksville, TN area. Join our team and be a part of a leading tile manufacturing company.

REQUIREMENTS OF TILE CUT LINE OPERATOR

  • Educational qualification: A high school diploma or GED is required for this position.
  • Mathematical ability: Proficiency in basic math skills, including decimals and fractions, to accurately measure and adjust tile cuts as required.
  • Mechanical experience: Prior experience in mechanical tasks or machinery operation is necessary to perform the duties of a Tile Cut Line Operator effectively.
  • Attention to detail: A keen eye for detail is essential for meticulously inspecting tile cuts to ensure accuracy and quality.
  • Safety consciousness: Commitment to upholding safety protocols, including wearing required personal protective equipment (PPE) for the duration of the shift, to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Prioritization: Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively to meet production deadlines and goals.

RESPONSIBILITIES OF CUTTING LINE OPERATOR

As a Tile Cut Line Operator, you will be tasked with ensuring precise and efficient tile cutting operations. Your responsibilities include:

  • Maintaining Quality Standards: Ensuring all cut tiles meet quality thresholds by meticulously inspecting them for accuracy and adherence to specifications.
  • Monitoring Operations: Constantly monitoring cutting operations and making necessary adjustments to maintain product quality and production efficiency.
  • Product Alignment: Ensuring cut tile products are square and that diagonals are correct, contributing to the overall quality of the finished product.
  • Mechanical Maintenance: Performing routine maintenance tasks and troubleshooting mechanical issues, including changing cutting blades and rectifying tools, to ensure uninterrupted production.
  • Product Changeovers: Successfully completing product changes, including color codes and tile sizes, to meet production requirements and customer orders.
  • Loading and Unloading Operations: Learning and operating loading and unloading operations efficiently to facilitate the production process.
  • Quality and Maintenance Reporting: Completing daily reports on quality, production, and maintenance activities, ensuring accurate documentation of operational performance.
  • Work Area Maintenance: Maintaining a clean and tidy work area to uphold safety standards and promote a conducive working environment.
