Mike Maroone Ford Longmont is seeking a Ford Master or ASE Master Technician to serve as Mentor Technician/Apprentice Technician Trainer. As a Mentor Technician you will be assigned 3 to 6 technicians who are enrolled in our Registered Apprentice Program. You will work alongside and mentor your team through the diagnostic and repair process while they perform the physical work.

**Up to $10,000 in sign on bonus Available to Certified Technicians**

Key Responsibilities

• Dispatch work to appropriate technicians.
• Train and mentor assigned technicians on proper diagnostic, maintenance, and repair practices.
• Hold team accountable to apprentice training standards and performance expectations.
• Train and mentor on proper data collection and Ford warranty process and procedures.
• Provide regular feedback on and to Apprentice Technicians to ensure they stay on track.
• Maintain shop equipment and train technicians to properly use and maintain shop equipment.
• Assist Service Manager with the interviewing and selection of apprentice technicians.

• Excellent communication skills. Must possess the innate desire to coach and to be a team builder.
• Minimum of 10 to 15 years an automotive technician with Ford or ASE Master Technician status.
• Experience using shop equipment (i.e., diagnostic equipment, alignment equipment, etc.)
• Desire to do quality work and provide exceptional customer service.
• Must have a valid driver's license with no more than two moving violations within the past three years, no DUI within past five years.
