Minimum 1+ years Behavior Specialist experience required.

Sunbelt staffing has partneredwith a school district near Emporia, Virginia to fill an opening for a school based RBT.

As a school behavior technician, you will play a vital role in providing behavioral support and implementing individualized intervention plans for students with special needs.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Implement behavior intervention plans under the guidance of a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) or licensed clinician.
  • Provide behavioral support throughout the day to students with unique needs.
  • Implement and carry out designated parts of the behavior plan.
  • Work with students in a co inclusion, regular education classroom setting
  • Collect data on student behavior and progress towards individualized goals.
  • Conduct Functional Behavior Assessments FBAs
  • Collect data on student behaviors, analyze trends, and use this information to adjust and refine intervention strategies.


JOB REQUIREMENTS:

  • RBT or ABA certification ORexperience as a behavior technician
  • Experience with behavioral disabilities
