Accounting Manager – Great Location in MoCo!
About the Company and Opportunity:
- Our long-standing client is a leader in the healthcare industry!
- Due to a vacancy, they are temporarily hiring an Accounting Manager to work in office in the Rockville area. They offer free parking onsite!
- Schedule is Mon-Fri regular business hours 8a-5p.
- Position is in-office.
- Pay: $50-55/hr based on experience.

Overview of the Accounting Manager role:
- Responsible for all aspects of global accounting systems and accounting processes, including month-end close, ensuring compliance with generally accepted accounting principles and internal controls and integrity, suitability, accuracy, and timeliness of internal information systems
- Manage accounts payable cycle, process, and staff. Ensure all transactions are recorded accurately.
- Manage accounts receivable, cash receipts and revenue. Prepare billing invoices and collections.
- Assist in all month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing activities including journal entry review/posting, balance sheet reconciliations and expense allocation, etc.
- Perform and complete special projects and other duties as assigned by Controller and/or CFO.
Preferred Qualifications for the Accounting Manager:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field
- 10+ years of progressive accounting experience
- Proficient in Excel
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
