Position Overview: The Educational Diagnostician will play a critical role in assessing students' learning needs and developing appropriate educational plans. This position requires expertise in conducting assessments, analyzing data, and collaborating with educators and families.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate students' academic abilities, learning styles, and educational needs.
- Analyze assessment data to identify strengths, weaknesses, and areas for growth.
- Develop individualized education plans (IEPs) and recommendations for interventions and accommodations.
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and parents to implement educational plans and support student progress.
- Provide consultation and professional development to educators on best practices for supporting diverse learners.
- Maintain accurate and confidential records of assessment results, progress notes, and communication with stakeholders.
Requirements:
- Master's degree in Education, School Psychology, or related field.
- Louisiana Educational Diagnostician certification or eligibility for certification.
- Professional references demonstrating expertise and proficiency in educational assessment and intervention.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
