Licensed Practical Nurse - LPN

Actalent is currently hiring for a Licensed Practical Nurse in the Fairfax, VA area!

Job Description:

-Support a full time Mohs surgeon in skin cancer treatment (excision, Mohs), and cosmetic procedures (botox, filler, laser, etc)

-Lead the surgical team as a liaison between physician, management and staff

-Ensure Mohs dept demonstrates operational excellence by leading the surgical staff, helping the team stay organized and accountable

-Participate in performance management with OM for surgical staff

-Lead CLIA inspection audits with OM and Histotech

-Cross train in Mohs lab

-Train new staff and become a resource for the Mohs team

-Reports to Office Manager

Skills:

Medical Assistant Lead, Modmed, EMA, dermatology, NURSE, LPN

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

-Soft skills: Organized, efficient, time management, people leader, reliable, great verbal and written communication

-Derm/Mohs experience preferred but open to those without experience (EMA/modmed experience)

- 8-10 years of experience

Intermediate Level
