This position is with a reputable nationwide home health agency, offering a 13-week contract with the potential for extension based on performance.

Job Details:

• Company: Sunbelt Staffing
• Location: Westminster, MD
• Client: Nationwide Home Health Agency
• Position: Contract Home Health Registered Nurse (RN)
• Duration: 13 weeks with possibility of extension upon successful completion
• Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 am - 5:00 pm, occasional weekends, and on-call (typically once per month)
• Compensation: Negotiable based on territory and candidate experience. Weekly paychecks.
• Benefits: Mileage reimbursement, Medical, Dental, Vision, 401k eligibility after 90 days

Job Requirements:

• Active Maryland RN License
• Active American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Minimum 6 months of experience with Oasis and Homecare Homebase
• Minimum 1 year of home health experience
• Reliable transportation

Job Duties:

• Conducting comprehensive patient assessments and developing individualized care plans.
• Providing skilled nursing care, including wound care, medication management, and IV therapy, in accordance with physician orders and agency policies.
• Utilizing Oasis and Homecare Homebase software for accurate documentation and care coordination.
• Educating patients and caregivers on disease management, treatment plans, and home care strategies.
• Monitoring patient progress, documenting interventions, and updating care plans as needed.
• Responding to patient emergencies and providing timely interventions to optimize outcomes.
• Communicating effectively with healthcare team members, patients, and families to facilitate continuity of care and promote patient satisfaction.
