Minimum 1+ years special education experience required.

Maine Remote Special Education Teacher Full-Time 2023-2024 School Year

We are currently looking for a Special Education teacher to come join our team for the 2023-2024 school year in Maine . This is an excellent school district, with lots of support, and a wonderful and welcoming team environment.

Job Details:

  • Administers various types of assessments i.e. performance assessments, formal and informal assessments, etc. to monitor student comprehension
  • Prepares lessons and outlines to use in class that effectively cover the material
  • Works with parents/guardians in all aspects of student s educational program
  • Serves as a resource to general education faculty, administrators, and related services personnel.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Degree in Special Education
  • Valid Maine Teaching Certificate with Special Education endorsement
  • 2 years of experience in a school environment
  • Virtual Experience
  • Hold all clearances to work in public/charter school
