Job Title: School Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)
Location: Natchitoches, LA
Company: Blazer Jobs, in collaboration with a distinguished school in Natchitoches, LA, is seeking a skilled and dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join their team.
Position Overview: The School SLP will play a vital role in providing speech and language services to students, helping them overcome communication challenges and achieve academic success. This position requires expertise in assessment, intervention, and collaboration with educators and families.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate students' speech, language, and communication skills.
- Develop individualized treatment plans to address students' speech and language goals.
- Provide direct therapy services to students, both individually and in groups, utilizing evidence-based interventions.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to integrate speech and language goals into students' educational plans.
- Maintain accurate documentation of student progress and communication with stakeholders.
- Adhere to state regulations and best practices in speech-language pathology.
Requirements:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
- Current licensure as an SLP in the state of Louisiana, including certification from the Louisiana Board of Examiners for Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology.
- Professional references demonstrating expertise and proficiency in speech-language pathology.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
