Our Operations Team is looking for an exceptional quality leader for our electronics manufacturing operations. The Quality Manager will be responsible for managing, inspiring, and developing a team made up of Associates, Technicians, and Engineers. This position will provide hands-on support, leadership, and direction to their direct reports while bringing a high degree of analytical ability, organizational skills, and attention to detail. The ideal candidate will appreciate a fast-paced environment where superior work is encouraged and recognized. What You’ll Do: Manage and lead the overall operation of the Quality team including manufacturing, supplier quality, customer cases, and new product development. Guide and coordinate training efforts on the production floor to ensure manufacturing procedures are maintained and direct quality team members to determine shift priorities and allocation of labor. Manage all rejection and MRB related activities. Foster a culture of continuous improvement by creating training material and conducting training to continually improve and develop the performance of the quality and manufacturing teams. Measure and implement improvements for supplier quality related items including new supplier qualification and corrective actions. Interact directly with customers and the internal customer experience team to determine performance improvement requirements, understand customer complaints, and drive improvement. Participate in and lead the Quality function throughout the entire new product development and release to manufacturing process. Use application software to define, measure, and report key quality indicators daily and during management review. What You’ll Bring: Bachelor’s Degree, evidence of exceptional ability, or equivalent. Electrical Engineering, Electronics Technology, or Computer Engineering background preferred. 3-5 years' experience in a management role in Quality, preferably in an electronic system manufacturing environment. Must understand general manufacturing processes, quality methodologies, and team leadership while demonstrating reliability, initiative, and desire to learn and teach. Strong problem-solving skills. Working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel required and a preferred experience with quality methods / analysis, familiarity with process control, defect identification and analysis, SPC, PFMEA. Ability to use business system applications (Epicor, Power BI a plus) to manage, synthesize, and interpret data. Strong aptitude with electronic and mechanical test and measurement systems and proficiency at reading and interpreting wiring diagrams and mechanical drawings. Ability to read electrical schematics a plus. Travel Requirement – 5%.
