JOB SUMMARY: The Executive Director is responsible for all aspects of quality and service provided to the hospice/ home care patient, this role’s oversight includes provision of care, regulatory compliance, leadership, growth, and profitability of the division. QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Hospice Administrator License or willing to obtain.
  • Home Health Administrator License preferred.
  • Two years of home care management experience.
  • Two years of administrative and supervisory experience with at least one year experience in a community health environment.
  • Knowledge of Hospice/Home Care regulatory requirements preferred.
  • Experienced with budgetary responsibilities, including budget development and monitoring.
  • Experience in overseeing marketing and program development in the health care arena preferred.
  • Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent combination of experience and education
  • Highly organized, able to handle multiple and shifting assignments and present a professional image.
  • Demonstrated computer skills including office applications, internet, and e-mail communications.
  • Knowledge of Medicare highly desirable.
  • Having and maintaining a valid Oklahoma Driver’s License and satisfactory driving record is a condition of employment.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
  • Work is primarily sedentary in nature with some standing and walking.
  • Must have adequate perception of sounds or adequate hearing with corrections.
  • Must be able to communicate with others in person and over the telephone.
  • Adequate vision, or correctable with glasses/contacts, to prepare and process information, supervise practice of staff, and monitor the work environment.
  • Fine motor skills and hand/eye coordination to operate office machines.
  • Lifting and moving heavy objects, up to 60lbs.
  • Computer knowledge and skills to include Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.
