Position Overview
 

We are seeking skilled and enthusiastic Baristas and Shift Managers to help our day to day operations at our Starbucks locations in downtown Chicago. You will play a crucial role in creating a positive and memorable customer experience in our stores.
 

Responsibilities:
 

• Prepare and serve high-quality coffee and espresso beverages with precision and care.
   
• Manage daily retail operations, ensuring fresh and appealing products are available to customers.
   
• Train and mentor barista/retail staff to maintain consistent service standards.**
   
• Handle customer inquiries, resolve issues, and ensure overall customer satisfaction.
   
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to health and safety standards.
   
• Manage inventory, order supplies, and monitor product quality.**
   
• Collaborate with the management team to implement promotional strategies and achieve sales targets.**
   

Qualifications:
 

• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
   
• Strong leadership and team management abilities.**
   
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks efficiently.
   
• Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining a clean and organized workspace.
   
• Flexibility to work nights, weekends and holidays are a must.

Required qualifications:
