About this job
Our client, located in Linthicum, MD, has a temp-hire opportunity for a Medical Claims Processor to join their team. The ideal candidate will have strong customer service skills, good attention to detail, and be organized.
Responsibilities include reviewing and evaluating all claims for processing medical benefits. Must have knowledge of Benefit Codes, CPT Codes, and ICD Codes, ability to review eligibility and work history for dates of service. Maintain a daily count of 100 claims per day. Interview members for claim inquiries to gather additional information.
Essential Requirements:
- Minimum one year experience processing medical claims
- Knowledge of medical and diagnosis related group codes (DRG's)
- Type 60 wpm
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
