Headquartered in Atlanta, American Insulated Glass is a leading glass fabricator and wholesale distributor, specializing in providing high-quality insulated, laminated, tempered, fire-rated and beveled glass products to glazing contractors and window manufacturers. Dedicated to serving both commercial and residential end markets, AIG also distributes a full line of float glass, mirror, and decoration glass solutions.
We are seeking a hard-working, reliable, and punctual Outside Sales Representative to join our growing operation team. The Outside Sales Representative will act as a liaison between our office team and our customers. They will provide product/services information and resolve any emerging problems that our customer accounts might face with accuracy and efficiency. The target is to ensure excellent service standards, respond efficiently to customer inquiries and maintain high customer satisfaction.

Key responsibilities & duties:
- Manage large amounts of incoming/outgoing calls, emails, and a customer base within a set territory
- Interact with new and existing customers in person and over the phone
- Identify and assess customers’ needs to achieve satisfaction promptly and effectively
- Build sustainable relationships and trust with customer accounts through open and interactive communication
- Provide accurate, valid, and complete information to the office and to the customers by using the right methods/tools.
- Meet personal/customer service team sales targets and call handling quotas
- Deal with customer complaints, provide appropriate solutions and alternatives within the time limits; follow up to ensure resolution. Keep records of customer interactions, process customer accounts and file documents
- Follow communication procedures, guidelines, and policies
- Take the extra mile to engage with customers
- Participate in a team-oriented environment

Education & Experience:
- Prior Sales Experience/Customer Service Experience (required)
- Glass experience (preferred not required)
- Construction experience preferred (preferred not required)
- Associates or bachelor’s degree (preferred not required)
Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged periods of driving
- Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
