The Position:

The X-Ray Technologist is responsible for producing high quality radiographs following Articularis Healthcare protocols, procedures and regulatory compliance in an efficient and accurate manner. This position will be primarily in our West Ashley office but will be required to travel to our Mt. Pleasant and Summerville offices as needed.


As an X-Ray Technologist, a typical day might look like:

  • Operating and maintaining required equipment necessary to produce radiographic images.
  • Performing various simple to complex radiographic procedures.
  • Obtaining and accurately recording patient information; vital signs, height, weight, allergies, current medications, and all medical history in the EMR.
  • Updating charts and tracking paperwork to completion.
  • Minimizing radiation to patient and staff by practicing radiation protection techniques, using beam restrictive devices, patient shielding, and knowledge of exposure factors.
  • Assisting with patient flow and maintain good communication between all clinical staff members.
  • Maintaining good QA records and reports for DHEC.

 

This job might be for you if:

  • You have graduated from an Accredited Radiology Technology Program.
  • You are registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (AART) and valid State Radiological License.
  • You have a valid CPR certification.
  • You have experience in a clinical setting.
  • You have experience navigating an EMR.
  • You have solid assessment, clinical, and documentation skills.
