About the Role:

As the world’s largest industrial steam boiler manufacturer, we launched our Miura Connect industrial IoT platform in 2021 to manage critical steam operations in places like hospitals, universities, and manufacturing plants. As the Product Development Manager, you will drive the evolution of the platform into an increasingly robust, industrial-grade platform connecting Miura, customers, and industrial processes. You'll be responsible for driving the strategic direction and ongoing development of the platform, ensuring it delivers exceptional value to our customers.

Responsibilities:

• Product Strategy:
  • Partner with key stakeholders to define the long-term vision and roadmap for Miura Connect, aligned with Miura’s values, user needs, and market and technology trends.
  • Drive platform adoption through compelling presentations, workshops, and training programs.
  • Monitor industry trends and competitor advancements, advocating for continuous improvement and competitive advantage.
• Commercial Management:
  • Assume P&L responsibility ensuring positive ROI for Miura by setting appropriate pricing strategies and managing costs.
  • Monitor and drive sales performance by setting targets, tracking trends, forecasting sales, and collaborating with sales teams to maximize revenue generation.
  • Develop go-to-market strategies by identifying target customers, defining channels, and creating compelling sales strategies.
• Product Development and Management:
  • Act as the subject matter expert leading development of the platform by leveraging software developers, engineering, marketing, and other teams to translate product vision into tangible features.
  • Manage the development lifecycle of new features and enhancements following a 6-month update cycle.
  • Monitor and optimize platform performance, addressing technical issues and improving user experience.
  • Travel up to 30% supporting presentations, user training, and key site installations.
• Strategic Partnerships and Integrations:
  • Forge strategic partnerships with leading technology providers and third-party application developers to expand the platform's ecosystem and functionality.
  • Manage integrations between Miura Connect and external systems and products.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience managing cross-functional teams and delivering technology projects within the software or IoT industry.
• Deep understanding of cloud-based technologies, data security, and industrial automation systems such as Linux-based hardware, AWS, Azure, Modbus, BACnet, MQTT, machine learning, and similar.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills, with the ability to influence and inspire team members and stakeholders.
• Strong strategic thinking and analytical abilities, coupled with a passion for innovation and problem-solving.
