Job Description
Fiddler's Elbow is looking for an Outside Porter to ensure the outside spaces of the club are pristine and well-maintained at all times. This person will work closely with the housekeeping team but will mostly work independently.

Summary of Responsibilities:
The Outside Porter is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of the outside appearance of the club by performing debris removal and general cleaning of outdoor spaces throughout the club.

Essential Functions:
- Promotes a positive work environment through effective communication and creating a warm and engaging atmosphere.
- Maintain cleanliness and appearance of the Club’s outdoor spaces.
- Foot patrol all outdoor Club spaces for litter, trash, and any debris.
- Empty trash cans and replace trash bags.
- Use of handheld blowers and other equipment to complete tasks.
- Clean debris in and around parking areas, loading docks and entrance/exits to all buildings.
- Clean debris along fence lines and walkways.
- Participate in daily pre-shift briefings with housekeeping staff.
- Refer Member/Guest complaints to Housekeeping Manager.
- Maintain neat and professional appearance.
- Follow schedule as posted. Arrive on time and dressed in appropriate uniform.
- Comply with sanitation and cleanliness standards.
- Take out garbage and dispose of it in appropriate location.
- Mop, sweep, dust all outdoor areas of Fiddler’s property.
- Assist with basic repair of vacuums and other equipment; or report malfunctions to be serviced.
- Assist with set up and breakdown of holiday decorations.
- Adhere to checklists provided by Housekeeping Manager.
- Keep Housekeeping Manager informed of any supplies needed or repairs to tools and equipment.
- Perform any other duties as assigned by Housekeeping Manager.

Required Education/Experience:
- High School or equivalent degree preferred.
- Previous housekeeping or environmental service experience, preferred.
- Bilingual preferred (English & Spanish)
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to reach, bend, stoop and wipe to perform essential job functions
- Must be able to work in a standing position for long periods of time
- Must be able to work indoor and outdoor environment, day and/or night hours, occasional long hours and weekends and holidays
- Lifting may be required up to 50 pounds
- Hot temperatures in the summer and cold temperatures during the winter
- Ability to use both arms and hands
- Ability to stand on feet for long periods of time
