Job Description

Consulting Director - Accounting and Finance Services

Are you looking for a “BOOST” in your GovCon accounting management career in 2024? Do you crave variety and challenge in your day-to-day GovCon world? Are you tired of being just another “cog” at a large GovCon? Do you wish every day was different and that you had exposure to multiple companies in different stages of their business growth cycle? Are you interested in helping small GovCon businesses grow and meet the challenges of succeeding in the complex and competitive GovCon world? Well then, do we have an opportunity for you!

BOOST is looking for a Consulting Director to lead our Accounting and Finance practice with our GovCon clients. We provide outsourced CFO, Accounting, and Finance services to our clients in the GovCon space. At BOOST, we have a passion for learning, creating, collaborating, and helping our clients meet their goals. This role is both strategic and operational. It’s running a kick-ass team, building the business, and doing client projects when a higher level of expertise is needed. It’s not for the mild-mannered or those craving routine. This is a role for those who want to be challenged, who want to build on a solid foundation, and take your team to the next level.

This role has everything you are looking for – technical prowess, team collaboration, independence, adaptability, creativity, business development, and team mentoring. You are a role model and mentor to our team; you are the voice of sanity to our clients, and you are a trusted colleague to your fellow senior staff members at BOOST.

A word about working remote: While this role is remote, we are looking for candidates who are in the DC/MD/VA region. Travel to BOOST meetings is required.
