Job Summary:
The Automotive Body Shop Manager at Blackstone Toyota Collision Center in Fresno, California is a full-time individual contributor role in the auto industry. The main responsibility of this position is to oversee and manage all aspects of the body shop operations. This includes identifying and implementing process improvements, managing inventory and supplies, and maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.

Compensation and Benefits:

Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage all aspects of the body shop operations, including estimating and invoicing, scheduling repairs, and quality control
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers and ensure that their needs are met in a timely and professional manner
- Train and supervise staff in all aspects of body shop operations, ensuring that they adhere to safety protocols and company standards
- Maintain a high level of customer satisfaction by regularly communicating with customers and addressing any concerns or issues that may arise
- Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce waste
- Manage inventory and supplies, ensuring that adequate stock levels are maintained and equipment is in good working condition
- Conduct regular performance evaluations for staff and provide coaching and feedback as needed
- Collaborate with other departments, such as sales and service, to ensure a seamless customer experience
- Keep up-to-date with industry trends and developments, and make recommendations for improvements as needed

Requirements:
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a managerial role within an automotive body shop
- Strong knowledge and understanding of automotive repair and estimation processes
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with customers and staff
- Proven track record of implementing process improvements and achieving results
- Strong leadership skills with experience in training and supervising staff
- Proficient in computer software programs, such as Microsoft Office and automotive estimating software
- Knowledge of safety protocols and regulations in the automotive industry
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods of time
- High school diploma or equivalent, with a degree in automotive technology or related field preferred
