Automotive Service Advisor

The Huston Automotive Group is hiring experienced and ambitious Service Writers / Service Advisors at Huston Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram in Avon Park. Service Advisors are the first point of contact with our customers. From greeting vehicle owners on the drive line to explaining the repair process, our Service Advisors are true professionals who enjoy helping others.

Service Advisor Responsibilities

• Generate service order estimations and quotes for customers
• Review vehicle inspections, estimates, and recommend proper maintenance care to our valued customers for optimal vehicle performance
• Determine and recommend required maintenance based on vehicle age, mileage, and history
• Monitor the progress of each vehicle throughout the day and update customers frequently
• Verify that the final invoice reconciles with the work performed on the repair order
• Bring customer vehicle to and from the shop bay for drop off and pick-up
• Explain all completed work and charges to customers
• Conduct post-repair follow up
• Resolve customer concerns
• Schedule appointments and maintain an organized schedule
• Continue to maintain our company value, quality, and integrity

Service Advisor Qualifications

• Automotive service experience a plus
• Must be able to manage in a fast paced work environment
• Must have great customer service skills
• Ability to work hard with limited supervision
• Must be able to pass pre-employment screens (background & drug)
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
• Bilingual a plus (Spanish / English)
