Job Description
Salary:

As a Senior Landscape Designer, your passion for creating beautiful outdoor spaces and cultivating relationships is absolutely contagious. As part of our innovative team, you join the mission of connecting life and land. Using strong skills of design, sales, communication, and project management, you will expertly manage a diverse portfolio of high-end, custom residential projects averaging $1 million.

In every interaction which follows, ensure communication is clear, expectations are set, deliverables are excellent, and the client is continually cared for.
  • Understand each site, designing for what the land needs and the client wants.
  • Conduct a site analysis while procuring measurements. Consider environmental factors such as drainage, energy availability, location of trees, drainage issues, grade changes, and more.
  • With a knowledge of hardscape construction, plant material, and elements of design, envision the potential of the space during this initial consultation. Discuss the scope and scale of the property’s livability.
  • Manage the design process, whether you prepare the site plan and graphic presentation yourself or subcontract it to an in-house or external designer.
  • Prepare cost estimates and oversee the project’s budget.
  • Present the design and estimate to clients for approval.
  • Work in close collaboration with project managers to ensure designs are buildable and job sites are efficient.
  • Serve as a project manager for each of your jobs, periodically visiting the job site to check on the progress and needs.
