Medical Assistant Omaha, NE
We are looking for a friendly medical assistant to join our practice full time in Omaha, NE. We are looking for an assistant who has experience in a chiropractor and/or healthcare clinic to join our amazing team! Ideally the incoming assistant has a deep desire to help and connect with people, works well within a team environment, loves being challenged and providing exceptional service. Must enjoy working with children as we see patients of all ages, can empathize with people and be able to communicate clearly with others. A huge bonus if the incoming assistant has a Nebraska Limited Radiographer License to take spinal and extremity x-rays as directed by chiropractor; and if candidate does not currently hold a license, it will be required to obtain within 120 days of employment (employer will pay for coursework/testing/licensing).

We have a dedicated team of chiropractors and amazing support team that collaborate to provide our patients with the highest level of care possible, so that our patients can reach their health and wellness goals.

Duties to include:  
  • Assist with new patient exams
  • Assist with conducting progress exams & reevaluations with existing patients
  • Patient X-rays (with certification)
  • Importing and entering clinical data
  • Clinical admin liaison to doctors
  • Directing patient traffic to appropriate areas of clinic and new patient tours
  • Preparing rooms for consultations, reports, and exams
  • Scheduling patients for exams and reports
  • New patient scheduling and follow up communication
  • Gathering and coordinating patient testimonials and reviews
  • Creating and displaying clinical case success summaries
  • Assisting with patient reports and consultations
 
Requirements:
  • Nebraska Limited Radiographer License to take spinal and extremity x-rays preferred. (if candidate does not currently hold a license, employer will pay for coursework/testing/licensing)
  • If not licensed, willingness to become certified/licensed within 120 days of employment
  • Previous experience working in a chiropractic office or healthcare setting is preferred
Schedule:
  • Full time (Monday -Thursday)
  • Occasional marketing events on weekends (2-4 hrs)
Salary (range):
  • $17-$20/hour depending on experience and certification
