Susquehanna Ford is looking for an individual to fill the role of Sales Manager. The right individual will have a well-rounded experience level in automotive sales, will need to show the ability to meet and exceed goals, as well as provide an excellent customer service experience.  We are looking for individual who has a strong ability to overcome objections, can focus on the details, and wants to grow with a progressive company. This must all be done while maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction. This is a commission position with income based on production, product penetration, and meeting and exceeding goals. Previous management and finance experience within the industry is preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure sales are structured to produce the highest profitability.
  • Accurately desks deals, submits deals to lenders for approval, makes credit decisions, and effectively closes deals.
  • Provide recommendations and assistance to customers in order to arrange the financing of their purchases. Present customers with additional product offerings to enhance their vehicle and ownership experience.
  • Maintain proficiency and certifications as required for the position.
  • Ensure every deal is fully aligned with local, state and federal guidelines.
  • Prepares paperwork, contracts and delivers deals.
  • Accurately audit team deals post-sale and deeply analyze for improvements.
  • Guarantee the expeditious funding of all contracts.

Qualifications

  • Eagerness to improve and learn all you can about the industry.
  • Knowledge of dealership finance and insurance procedures.
  • Proficient at structuring deals for maximum profitability.
  • General understanding of title laws and registration process.
  • Professional personal appearance
  • Extraordinary verbal/written communication skills.
  • Expertise in negotiation and presentation skills.
  • Valid driver’s license.
