Basic Purpose

The Fulfillment Manager role will optimize the supply chain process to meet our dynamic customer demands efficiently. They will ensure smooth coordination between various departments at Tate Inc. to facilitate timely and accurate order fulfillment. The Fulfillment Manager is also responsible for implementing strategies to mitigate risks, maintain supply chain integrity, and uphold high levels of customer satisfaction through timely and accurate deliveries.

Responsibilities

  • Ensures operational planning is in line with customer demand.
  • Knows and communicates free capacity to the commercial and project management teams.
  • Implements clear and concise systems that guarantee all customer deliveries are made on time and in-full.
  • Utilizes SAP (Systems, Applications, and Products) software to streamline and manage various aspects of the fulfillment process, including inventory tracking, order processing, and logistics coordination.
  • Creates contingency plans for any significant supply chain risks.
  • Collaborates with cross-functional teams to continuously improve processes and enhance efficiency throughout the supply chain.
  • Monitors key performance indicators (KPIs) related to order fulfillment, such as order accuracy, on-time delivery, and inventory turnover, and takes corrective actions as necessary.
  • Develops and maintains strong relationships with suppliers, negotiates contracts, and ensures timely receipt of materials to support production schedules.
  • Leads or participates in strategic initiatives to optimize inventory management systems and transportation logistics.
  • Conducts regular assessments of the fulfillment process to identify areas for improvement, implements solutions, and measures the impact on operational performance.
  • Maintains awareness of individual contribution to and impact of the quality, safety, environmental, and product compliance policies and activities; reports all quality issues, unsafe acts, and unsafe conditions to the proper personnel.

Qualifications

  • Experience working in a high-paced environment and have worked in some Supply Chain, Fulfilment or Scheduling capacity at Manager level.
  • Adaptability and agility in how you work. The ability to multi-task, manage different stakeholders and react quickly is essential.
  • A systems mindset with the ability to break down complex problems to their core elements, and communicate and implement effective solutions.
  • Succinct communication skills that provide clear and unambiguous direction throughout the business.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to root cause and implement effective solutions.
  • A proactive and logical mindset which allows you to anticipate problems and implement systems to prevent issues occurring.
  • Ability to fight fires and find quick solutions where necessary.
