PRIMARY WORK SCHEDULE: Monday – Friday 7am – 3:30 pm

*Depending on demand, in some instances, extended work hours may be needed

STARTING PAYRATE: $17-$25 per hour (negotiable depending on experience)

JOB SUMMARY: The Line Lead II is responsible for managing all aspects of their packaging line or lines of responsibility. This leader ensures their production is fulfilled in full, on time, safely, efficiently, and meeting customer quality specification requirements. The Line Lead II is an experienced operational leader with strong communication and technical skills capable of handling all personnel, inventory, and equipment issues on their line or lines with minimal upper management intervention.

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

In the event of absence, line leaders will be assigned as necessary to provide adequate production coverage.

Safety:

• Adheres to and ensures Safety rules and guidelines are followed in the department
• Addresses Safety issues timely, and reports all injuries, near misses and property damage immediately
• Works with the packaging supervisor to complete post incident reports

Quality:

• Studies production order to ascertain type and quantity of product, containers to be used, and other packaging requirements
• Expert at reading and understanding customer specs, requirements, and pricing models
• Observes packaging operations and inspects products to verify conformance to food safety and quality requirements and customer specifications
• Interprets company policies to workers and enforces GMP and food safety regulations

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS: High School Diploma or GED; and one to three years related experience.
