Position: Registered Nurse (RN)

Salary: $64,480. yearly

Job Type: Full-time schedule

Schedule: Sunday thru Saturday (flexible schedule)

Location: Delaware County - Walton, New York

Up to a $3000 Bonus

Responsibilities: The Registered Nurse (RN) will provide health care needs for people in our Day and Residential Programs.

Other Duties:

~ Communicate & interpret medical reports to others

~ Train & development specialized health care needs

~ Ability to respond to individual needs quickly

~ Excellent organization and time management skills

~ Familiar with Medication Administration Policy & Procedures

~ Prepare and execute related policies and procedures

~ Responsible for training of the following:

• Complete Medication pours with staff
• CPR, First Aid
• Infection control
• TB, Blood Bourne Pathogen and P.P.E kits
• Teaching or carrying out health or hygiene related programming

~ Training & administering G-tube medications

~ Complete incident reports involving health and safety as needed

Qualifications:

• Current New York State Registered Nurse License
• Bachelor’s degree. Registered nurses with less than a Bachelor’s degree will be considered based on previous experience.
• 2 years in the field preferred
• Valid driver’s license
• Have working knowledge of applicable laws and regulations for New York
• Must possess strong leadership, teamwork and collaboration skills
• Ability to respond well under pressure
• Ability to lift 50 lbs.
• Must be able to pass a background check, drug screen & physical
• Current First Aid and CPR Certification
