What will I be doing?  

  • Completing Comprehensive Assessments 

  • Working with individuals and families in the outpatient office setting, as well as meeting them where they are in the community. 

  • Crisis intervention and treatment planning 

  • Fully licensed therapists may assist with oversight of clinical service provision for the team.

  • Successful staff exude a passion for serving vulnerable individuals and families.    

  • A flexible schedule is important for this role and allows you to have control over your session planning. 

  • Ability to work independently and manage time well. 

  • Ability to collaborate with a team to accomplish goals. 

 Qualifications:  

  • Master’s Degree in a Mental Health Counseling, Social Work, Psychology or a Related field 
  • Meets current requirements to receive approval as a Resident in Counseling or Supervisee in Social Work in the state of Virginia.
  • Preferred: approved by the board as a Resident in Counseling or Supervisee in Social Work in the state of Virginia
  • Preferred at least one year of Direct Care Experience
  • Excellent writing and communication skills: May be required to submit a writing sample.
  • Candidates must be available to work afternoon and evening hours.

Full-time Residents at Health Connect America are eligible to receive supervision towards their Licensure from a Board Approved Supervisor.
