Account Technician

Job description We are looking for an Account Technician to join our agency, and enthusiastically work under the guidance of team leaders and alongside other team members. You must be someone who is ambitious with a desire to advance and actively contribute to the team in order to complete tasks, effectively manage time and workload, and understand that the team's success is your own success. Responsibilities and Duties

Perseverance in gathering client and carrier information. Document client information and communicate as appropriate. Interact effectively with Producers, Account Managers, Account Technicians, and others. Work well with individuals of diverse backgrounds at all levels. Flexibility in working across a variety of job duties and responsibilities. Process policy renewals and supplemental policies as necessary. Accurate data entry into software data bases (including AMS 360) & proposals for customers Assigned responsibilities commensurate with experience and knowledge. Perform other related and assigned duties as required. Qualifications and Skills

Attention to detail Proficiency in a variety of software programs and systems (Microsoft Office Suite), and an ability to learn new systems and processes. Strong interpersonal and communication skill to build good working relationships across the office staff and working with vendors Supportive team-oriented attitude Excellent organizational skills Effective time management Demonstrate excellence in all work performed, and continually seek improvement Maintain respectful professionalism in office environment Experience in oil and gas and/or insurance industries preferred Benefits
