Bachelor's degree in Nursing or ADN with BSN in progress required. University of Colorado Hospital serves as a local, state, regional and national referral center for Level I Trauma Center and ABA verified Burn Center. We are seeking a team oriented outreach coordinator to plan, implement and support data driven outreach strategic initiatives for Trauma, Burn and EMS. Significant travel opportunities to eight state region. Participates in local, state, regional and national professional organizations (ACS, ABA).

Location: UCHealth Leprino Building Anschutz Campus, US:CO:Aurora

FTE: Full Time, 1.0, 80.00 hours per pay period (2 weeks)

Shift: Days

Pay: $38.29 - $59.35 / hour. Pay is dependent on applicant's relevant experience

Summary:
Organizes and coordinates the activities and flow of work for the Program.

Responsibilities:
Organizes and coordinates the activities and flow of work for the Program.

Participates on multidisciplinary teams to collaboratively address program development, problem identification and resolution, cost containment issues, regulatory compliance, and systems/performance/outcomes measures.

Facilitates the development, implementation, and evaluation of program services, practice standards, and initiatives, including program-specific committees, conferences, and staff/public education opportunities.

Serves as a resource to staff regarding clinical practice, policies, and program services. May provide direct patient care as needed to evaluate or assist with caring for patients.

Within scope of job, requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgement and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and take appropriate action.

Requirements:

  • Credentials:
    Essential:
    * Registered Nurse
    * Basic Life Support
  • Other information:
    Minimum Required Education: Bachelor's degree in Nursing or ADN with BSN in progress.
    Required Licensure/Certification: State licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN). Basic Life Support (BLS) Healthcare Provider.
    Minimum Experience: 3 years of related experience.
  • BLS through the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross CPR for the Professional Rescuer with card in-hand before start date. BLS or CPR card must be good through sixty days of hire.
