Manager Radiation Oncology
Inova Fair Oaks Hospital is seeking Manager Radiation Oncology to join the Radiation Therapy team. This position full-time day shift (40 hrs/week). Requirements for consideration:
- Bachelor’s degree in Management, Healthcare Administration or Related Field
- Degree in radiation therapy or Masters highly preferred.
- 2 years of experience in a lead/chief therapist role or management role in an oncology program or facility
- American Registered Radiologic Technologist Certification preferred.
Job Responsibilities:
- The Manager of Radiation Oncology demonstrates the leadership skills and independent actions necessary to support a Radiation Oncology work environment while ensuring the effective utilization of Human Resources throughout the department for adequate staffing requirements.
- Develops and assists in continuous performance improvement within the department in order to maintain optimal quality patient care by staying abreast of current technology.
- Provides direction and management to direct reports and all department team members and is responsible for team member relations and staff development while developing goals and managing fiscal department activities.
