Responsibilities – Technician:  

• Diagnose and perform quality repair and maintenance work in a timely manner and to meet dealership and manufacturer standards
• Inspect and test new vehicles for necessary adjustments
• Repair broken or worn mechanical and electronic technology components
• Clearly write and communicate needed repairs/maintenance and the parts and time needed to repair for Service Advisors and Service Manager
• Maintain repair and service records
• Install equipment, components, and systems
• Test vehicles both before and after repair
• Repair electrical wiring, circuits, and fixtures
• Other duties may be assigned according to expertise and certifications

Qualifications/Requirements - Technician:

• Previous experience as an automotive technician, mechanic, or other related fields
• Knowledge of diagnostic and repair equipment
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
• Deadline and detail-oriented
• Valid driver's license
• Team-oriented, flexible, and focused on maintaining a high level of customer service
• Computer skills
• Must supply own tools (special/job-specific tools and equipment provided by dealership)
