Overview

Job Purpose

We are currently seeking a Staff Accountant to join our expanding team. Intercontinental Exchange is an innovative company with a fast-paced environment and we are looking for a Staff Accountant who is a quick learner and excels at multi-tasking. This position will be responsible for assisting with the preparation of monthly analytic reports, preparing account reconciliations, maintaining regulatory filings and doing their part to ensure the month-end close process is completed in a timely and efficient manner.

Responsibilities

  • Preparing and processing of general ledger transactions and journal entries
  • Conduct monthly and quarterly account reconciliations to ensure accurate reporting
  • Assist in completing the monthly close process
  • Preparation of support schedules for quarterly and annual SEC filings
  • Assisting with quarterly and year-end audits
  • Various ad hoc financial analysis and performing special projects as requested

Knowledge and Experience

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting
  • 1+ years of experience in an accounting function
  • Must be proficient in Excel - Oracle Cloud and/or Hyperion is a plus
  • Detail oriented and has strong organizational skills
  • Able to work in a team environment
  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment, with the flexibility to handle multiple job assignments at the same time

Schedule

This role offers work from home flexibility of up to 2 days per week.
