This position primarily processes and reviews policies, endorsements, and cancellations for insurance accounts. Prior P&C insurance experience is required.

Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Personal and/or Commercial Customer Service Representative at Gary Thacker Insurance. As a Customer Service Representative, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to clients, assisting them with their commercial and personal insurance needs. This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multi-task. Located in Fort Oglethorpe, GA, this position offers the opportunity to work closely with clients in a supportive team environment.

Responsibilities

• Process and review insurance policies, endorsements, and cancellations
• Communicate the status of pending changes, cancellations, and account issues to clients and producers
• Communicate efficiently and effectively with clients, insurance carrier underwriting representatives, and producers via telephone, email, and in-person
• Coordinate with producers and company personnel in the placement of clients' coverage
• Quote new and renewal personal and/or commercial insurance business
• Maintain confidentiality of clients' personal and financial information

Qualifications

• High school education or equivalent
• Prior experience in Property & Casualty Insurance
• Georgia Property & Casualty License
• Familiarity with agency procedures
• Excellent communication skills and work ethic
• Proficiency with computers
